White Sangria

White Sangria is a white wine based punch that originated in Spain. Sangria in Spanish means "Bleeding", this refers to the red color of the punch. There is no one white wine that is always used in making White Sangria. The wine is always chosen by the blenders to suite the needs of the people who will be drinking it. if you prefer a sweeter styled White Sangria, then we recommend an Alsace Riesling. If you prefer a slightly drier but still fruity then we recommend a Sauvignon Blanc. Sugar, brandy, triple sec, club soda and peach schnapps are added in varying amounts to achieve the taste you prefer. Also, be sure to include a variety of thinly sliced fruits, such as apples, oranges, lemons and limes. Sangria is a relatively easy punch to make and is perfect for parties with friends and family. During the summer months it is quite refreshing as it is always served with ice.
