Robert Parker The Wine Advocate
"The 2007 Doce Linajes Reserva comes from 50yearold vines aged for 24 months in new and used French oak. There is a touch of volatility on the nose, but it just adds to the animation on the aromatics and complements the kirsch and dark cherry fruit. The palate is mediumbodied with sweet ripe, succulent tannins, although overall it is a very feminine, lithe, dare I say nubile, wine with a caressing, pure finish. Gorgeous! Drink now2020."" Cherry red color. Complex and elegant, predominating red and black fruits with balsamic notes. Silky, greasy, sweety and full palate. Ripe tannins and roasted coffee notes. Serving suggestions: wild game, roasted meats and very mature cheeses."
